PIER SOUTH MARINA ENHANCEMENTS
The Pier South Marina is among the City’s most prominent Marinas and its unique location on the south side of the 17th Street bridge is an especially attractive feature for larger vessels staying in our City, which is known worldwide as the yachting capital.
The dock at Pier South recently completed some updates. The new, modern floating dock can now accommodate vessels up to 400 feet in length while taking another step toward efforts to enhance and revitalize this iconic waterfront property.
Updates included:
Installation of a new, modern floating dock
The new dock is straight
The new dock accommodates larger vessels
The new dock further extends westward into the Intracoastal waterway 25’ beyond the property line, which requires a waiver of limitations
Pier South Marina slip count remains same (37)
